Taller adultos: plantas bulbosas
📍 Gijón · View on map
Bulbs give you one of the most rewarding springs in the garden, but only if you plant them properly and at the right time. This workshop at the Atlantic Botanical Garden covers the full cycle: what to buy and how to tell qualities and sizes apart, how to plant in pots or in the ground, why bulbs sometimes degenerate, how to force them and what care they need afterwards.
There is also room for combinations with perennials and for the bulb lasagne technique, layering different bulbs in one pot so blooms follow on from each other. It is led by Marián Parra, from Tienda Botánica, and every participant takes home a small gift.
The session is for ages 13 and up, with twenty places and a price of 10 €. Booking in advance is required.
