Edith is a forty-year-old journalist who has decided to become a single mother through sperm donation. Raising a child alone turns out to be far harder than she imagined, and fear starts to take over. When she unexpectedly discovers her donor's identity, she decides to track him down under the pretext of interviewing him for the newspaper she works for, an encounter that will end up turning her life, and the lives of those around her, upside down.
Directed by Janicke Askevold, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jørgen Færøy Flasnes and Mads Stegger, the film stars Lisa Loven Kongsli, Herbert Nordrum, Nasrin Khusrawi and Rolf Kristian Larsen. It screens in Norwegian, Finnish and English with subtitles, recommended for ages 16 and up. It won Best Screenplay, Best Actress and the ACCEC Critics' Award at the 2026 BCN Film Fest, and was part of the selection at the 2025 Locarno Festival.
