The company Jovina brings «La casa de Babá Yaga y otras brujas del mundo» (Baba Yaga's House and Other Witches of the World) to the Teatro Auditorio in La Pola Siero, a storytelling session for the Halloween long weekend. Families are invited into the great witch's house, said to move on strange chicken legs, to hear tales, spells and mysteries from shadows and forests around the world.
Witches know our fears and our dreams, so the question is unavoidable: will we make it through their magical trials, or end up as their dinner with a side dish? Forty-five minutes of humour and magic, recommended for families with children aged 5 and up.
It takes place on Friday 30 October at 6pm. Admission is free, but requires picking up an invitation beforehand at the Casa de Cultura de La Pola Siero, available from 5 October, weekdays 5pm-8pm and Saturdays 11am-1pm.
