Semana europea de la movilidad

Gijón is once again taking part in European Mobility Week, the campaign the European Commission runs every 16 to 22 September across almost 3,000 towns and cities to raise awareness of more sustainable ways of getting around. This edition's theme is «Shared public space», and the City Council has organised activities for all ages throughout the week, put together with various municipal services and local organisations.

Highlights include the «Culture on two wheels» map, designed to help you discover the city by bike, alongside the full programme of activities published on the Council's website. A good excuse to try other ways of getting around Gijón for a whole week.
