“Gijón Looks at the Eclipse” is the Fiesta del Cielo 2026 urban trail: a free, self-guided game, entirely online and requiring only a phone to play. It links tourist and cultural spots around the city connected to the sky and the great total solar eclipse of 12 August.
At each stop, a sign with a QR code unlocks tourist and historical information about the site, a riddle about the eclipse, and trivia to keep you moving through the route. The game also includes a safe eclipse-viewing guide and the full Fiesta del Cielo programme, with a countdown to the big day. Available from 20 to 24 July, around the clock.
