Four free workshops for parents of teenagers who want to know how to respond to the easy access to pornographic content online. They take place in November from 18:00 to 20:30 and combine basic ideas about how children and young people form their understanding of sexuality with guidance on supporting them towards healthy development.
They are run by the Health Department of Gijón Bienestar (the municipal social services foundation) and are spread across the integrated municipal centres of El Llano, L'Arena, Pumarín and Gijón Sur, plus the Natahoyo Social Facility. Each session stands alone, so we can sign up for one, several or all of them. Registration is free, done through the City Council website from 9 October until places run out.
