KBUÑS 2026: 44 encuentros internacionales de juventud de cabueñes

Gijón hosts the 44th edition of KBUÑS, the International Youth Encounters of Cabueñes, a discussion and networking forum the city has organised since 1983, bringing together young people, associations, youth workers and policymakers from across Spain and abroad. The event, held at the Escuela de Comercio and the Antiguo Instituto Culture Centre, kicks off on Friday with participants arriving for a welcome gathering and continues with debate sessions until Monday midday. This edition focuses on citizenship rights such as democratic participation, access to decent housing and the right to culture, with workshops, talks and activities aimed at young people aged 16 to 30 and at youth professionals.
