British composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Emma-Jean Thackray performs live «Dear Miles: A Love Letter», her personal tribute to Miles Davis. Rather than looking back with nostalgia, the project imagines the paths the musician might explore today: a letter to the past written from the present, threading jazz together with electronica, improvisation, groove and contemporary production, in keeping with the soul, funk, Detroit house and techno that run through her music. The concert takes place on 7 November at Teatro Jovellanos.
