The band Cúevano, made up of a large group of musicians from Asturias' contemporary music scene, performs at the Teatro Auditorio in La Pola Siero to mark Samaín. The project was born from jam sessions held at the Taberna Cuévano, in Pola de Siero, a meeting point where different artists began sharing repertoire, ideas and a shared vision around Asturian roots music.
Aiming to bring Asturian tradition into dialogue with new forms of performance and creation, Cúevano has built its own repertoire and a collective sound identity, running through its greatest hits on stage. The concert is held in collaboration with the regional programme «Asturies, Cultura en Rede».
It takes place on Saturday 31 October at 8pm. Admission is free, subject to venue capacity, organised by the Fundación Municipal de Cultura de Siero.
