Once its doors close for the day, Bioparc Acuario de Gijón is transformed for those brave enough to spend the night among more than 4,500 aquatic animals. The experience includes a guided night tour, a workshop on shark behaviour with games to test what's been learned, dinner at the Kraken Beach Bar and breakfast the next morning.
Aimed at 8 to 14 year-olds, with 30 places available, it also gives families a free night off: while the kids sleep surrounded by marine life, the grown-ups get an evening without aquarium schedules.
