Día sin cole: WOFF
📍 Bioparc Acuario de Gijón, Playa de Poniente, Gijón · View on map
Bioparc Aquarium in Gijón turns these school-free days into a camp for kids curious about nature and wildlife filmmaking. Timed to coincide with the Wild Oceans FilmFest, the ocean conservation film festival hosted at the aquarium itself, participants step into the shoes of explorers, naturalists and filmmakers for a day: they find out how animal sounds are recorded, which camera tricks reveal scenes almost invisible to the naked eye, and how a nature story is told through images. They also look into the animal kingdom's great "actors", creatures able to change their appearance, mimic other species or vanish thanks to camouflage.
Designed for children aged 6 to 14, the camp runs over two independent, complementary days, 3 and 4 November, each with different activities, so kids attending both days get a full experience without repeating content. Sessions run from 9:00/9:30 to 14:00/14:30 and include a mid-morning snack.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance: each day costs €26, with a 10% discount for holders of the aquarium's PaseB card.
