Cultura Divertida is a summer workshop designed to help children explore science through play. For a week at the El Coto Municipal Centre in Gijón, everyday summer wonders — the sun, water, sand or fireworks — become simple experiments that spark scientific curiosity. The workshop runs in two age groups: 9 to 12 year-olds (9:30-11:30am, €10) and 5 to 8 year-olds (12:00-1:30pm, €8). Places are booked through the city council website, the Gijón app or the citizen service offices, so it's worth registering early if you'd like your kids to take part.
