Gijón's Youth Office is running a new workshop as part of its «¡Lo que me faltaba!» programme, aimed at professionals working with young people and teenagers. Titled «Creando vínculos que transforman», the training offers emotional tools ready to use in the classroom, youth work or professional support, with a practical, hands-on approach grounded in evidence: attachment, trauma-informed practice and positive discipline.
It runs on 14, 16 and 17 September, from 5pm to 7:30pm, at the Espacio Joven in the Escuela de Comercio, led by Elvira Álvarez Baz, psychologist at the Emotional Wellbeing Advisory Service. It's free, with 15 places, and booking (with the city card) opens Monday 31 August at 9am.
