The classic tale of The Vain Little Mouse comes to Paseo de Begoña on 21 August at 6pm, performed by La sonrisa del lagarto as part of Gijón's free Arte en la Calle programme. The company revives Charles Perrault's fable about a vain little mouse who falls for the flattery of a cat with more sinister intentions than they first appear. Blending humour with child-friendly suspense, the show invites young audiences to wonder whether the naive heroine will escape the dangerous feline in time.
