Paseo de Begoña fills with circus magic on 21 August at 1pm with «CIRCO BAJO EL TEJADO. Las historias de Muscario», a circus-theatre and storytelling show that's part of Gijón's free Arte en la Calle programme. Charismatic performer Muscario blends juggling, puppets, magical lights and acrobatic balance to build stories that mix humour and narrative, with scripts designed to surprise both children and the adults who bring them along. The staging is minimal and the music live, so everything rests on the performer's skill and closeness to the audience. It's a free open-air event, organised by Festejos Divertia, perfect for a family afternoon out in the heart of Gijón during the summer, no ticket needed.
