Premiu Camaretá al Meyor Cantar

The Teatro de la Laboral hosts the final gala of the Premiu Camaretá al Meyor Cantar, an award now in its eighteenth edition dedicated to song in Asturian and Eonavian. After the finalists perform, the jury picks the winning song from four entries: Foles de Sólo, Escuela de Amor de Ochobre, La Carbonera by Marisa Valle Roso and Piquena by Tania Pereira.

The gala also features last year's winner, Ferla Megía, performing the award-winning track Xatu. Convened by the Principality of Asturias government with a €6,000 prize, the award aims to strengthen and celebrate musical creation in Asturias' own languages, also including the winner in the Autores nel Camín touring circuit. Free admission until the venue is full.
