📍 Oviedo · View on map

Opening performance of the X Premiu y Festival de Teatru Nel Amaro in Oviedo, featuring Covenant Producciones, winners of the 2025 Premiu Nel Amaro, with their production Tía Miseria. The play draws on Asturian oral tradition: a series of staged pieces that gather stories, sayings and music from the countryside and turn them into theatre.

Built around the figure of Tía Miseria, the show travels in a loop between past and future, childhood and old age, death and power, with humour and oral tradition as its thread. A production in Asturian that opens the festival dedicated to theatre companies working in the language.
