Tō Yō are a Tokyo four-piece who play a contemporary strain of psychedelic rock, sitting between the Japanese genre's tradition and the city's club sensibility: dense, repetitive rhythms drawing on heavy rock, dance music and improvisation alike. They debuted in 2023 with the album "Stray Birds From the Far East" and have since played Fuji Rock Festival and, on their first European tour in 2025, festivals such as Freak Valley and SonicBlast. They now land at Lata de Zinc in Oviedo, a small venue that lets you experience their hypnotic live set up close.
