Hands-on self-protection and rescue training for surfers at stairway 9 on San Lorenzo beach, on Friday 9 October (4:00 to 8:00 pm) and Saturday 10 October (10:00 am to 2:00 pm). It is led by Jonan Etxebarria, author of «Socorrismo para surfistas», with specialist instructors from IPSE. There are 40 places in total, allocated in order of registration at the Central de Salvamento (until 6 October, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm). Participants must bring their own wetsuit and board and have basic, independent sea skills.
