On Monday 10 August, the Gijón Symphonic Band takes the stage in Plaza Mayor as part of the free Semana Grande programme, with a family concert starting at 21:00. The show has a special twist: a Eurovision-themed set titled "BandaManía Eurovision: Europe Sings as a Family", featuring band arrangements of well-known contest songs.

The concert is part of the Plaza Mayor line-up, which mixes afternoon and evening acts throughout Semana Grande - from gospel to Asturian folk to rock karaoke - in one of the prettiest corners of Gijón's old town. Free entry until the venue reaches capacity.
