Caleyando por la Senda del Carbón is a cycling march from Mieres to the Bustiello mining village, organised with the Valles Mineros cycling club as part of European Mobility Week. It sets off at 10:00 from Parque Aníbal Vázquez, on a route combining sport, industrial heritage and sustainable mobility; helmets are compulsory and bikes must be in good condition, and children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Taking part is free, but requires signing up in advance via the form on the town council's website, between September 7 and 17.
