Fiesta del Santo Cristo del Amparo. Día Grande: misa, procesión y danzas

The main day starts at dawn with hourly masses. At 12:00, a parade sets out to find the music band that will accompany the procession, waiting on the edge of the village. After the main mass comes the procession and, at its close, the Dance of the Christ on the festival meadow, one of the most awaited moments. In the afternoon, a second dance, that of the Married Couples, winds through the neighbourhood, and the day closes with further parades, the open-air ball and the traditional closing garlic soup.
