Rincones y Recovecos: sábado en la Laboral

Saturday 19 is the big day and it starts early: traditional games open at 11:30 AM on the Plaza de la Laboral (free, until 1:30 PM and again from 5:30 to 8 PM). At 12:30 PM María Moliner opens her reading club in the Library, and from there the programme runs until the small hours.
Morning and midday belong to the family shows: «El», three generations of clowns in the stage house, and «¡Qué viene el lobo!» in the workshop courtyard. The afternoon spreads dance and theatre across the whole site —«¡Qué buen día!», «Marianne, naturaleza en un lienzo», «Piel de mujer», «Conservando memoria», «Glimpse», «¿Bene?»— and adds the «Recovecos Insólitos» pass: three pieces on a single 10-euro ticket, with a vote for the one that will represent Asturias next year.
At 7:15 PM Los Anti-Pop play a free family rock gig sung in Asturian on the central stage. And at 9:30 PM «¡Kanpai!», by Teatro del Cuervo, closes the festival by pairing cider and sake, with a cider-pouring masterclass, a snack and a drink included. Reception stays open until 9:45 PM.
