The Coros y Danzas (Choirs and Dances) section of the Real Grupo de Cultura Covadonga, one of Gijón's longest-running folklore groups (active since 1975 within Asturias' biggest multisport club), performs at Plaza 6 de Agosto as part of Divertia's summer festivities programme. Based in Las Mestas, the group has spent decades representing Asturian tradition at events like Día d'Asturies en Xixón and the Arte en la Calle programme, combining traditional dance and song in a free open-air show.
