Orquesta Velvet, one of the most acclaimed verbena bands in Spain, closes out the last big Saturday of Gijón's Semana Grande with a full-scale show. Their set moves through Spanish and Latin pop, rock, and international hits, backed by an impressive stage production. The show takes place in Poniente, with the Cantabrian Sea as a backdrop, from 8pm to 10:30pm — a great plan for dancing with family or friends in the middle of the festive atmosphere of Gijón's summer celebrations.
