OPUS. La taimada. XXIV circuito RED teatros alternativos

Espacio Escénico El Huerto in Gijón hosts «OPUS», a stage piece by the Catalan company La Taimada, part of the 24th edition of the Contemporary Performing Arts Circuit run by the Red de Teatros Alternativos, touring 44 venues across Spain this year.
La Taimada works with the body, dance and movement around human beauty and fragility, placing the audience in the uncomfortable position of onlooker. In «OPUS», this sculptural approach turns the feminine into an icon that both demands the audience's gaze and questions it, in a piece inspired by Egon Schiele's painting of the same name, which also gave the company its own.
The performance takes place on 1 October at 20:30, with tickets priced at 12 euros.
