Teatro: Entre los árboles
📍 Centro Niemeyer, Avilés · View on map
A young woman fielding endless calls from lonely people. A young man translating, from a distant language, the remains of an old affection. A couple trying to rebuild a lost feeling by remembering a painting that once brought them together.
Entre los árboles gathers four short pieces by Juan Mayorga into a single show: three pairs of lovers crossing paths over one strange night, with a dozen characters played by just three performers. As so often with Mayorga, what carries the evening is not the plot but the power of words.
It is directed by Abel González Melo and produced by La Virgen Teatro, and runs for around 70 minutes. It is not recommended for under-14s, and the room is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
