The Centro Municipal Integrado Pumarín Gijón Sur hosts Noches encendidas: tributo a Mecano, a live tribute concert organised by Diverfest Eventos that brings back the biggest anthems of one of the most influential trios in 1980s and 90s Spanish pop. With a live band and vocals that faithfully recreate the original sound, the show revisits songs such as Hijo de la luna, La fuerza del destino and Cruz de navajas, for an evening built for singing along and remembering one of the brightest chapters of Spanish music. It's a tribute show — not the original band — but the spirit of the songs stays intact. Join us on Saturday 24 October at 19:00, part of the CMI Pumarín's autumn programme.
