Aladanza Educación y Tradición runs a hands-on, fun workshop at Laboral to discover the popular roots of Asturian Christmas: its characters, myths and customs, using the tale "Un nataliegu perbullindiegu" as a thread. Over the session, participants learn about traditions such as burning the nataliegu log, Christmas wreaths, aguinaldos and Asturian carols, singing one of them and making their own Christmas wreath to take home.
Aladanza is an initiative that uses Asturian tradition as an educational tool, combining current pedagogies with knowledge of children's physical and neurological development, from a perspective of inclusion and diversity.
It is aimed at children aged 5 to 12, meeting at the Laboral reception. Price: €6 (€5 with the Club Cultura card or school card, until the day before the activity).
