Comic actress and singer Maru Candel, from Seville, comes to the Pumarín Gijón Sur Municipal Integrated Centre with her particular stand-up style, mixing comedy monologues with music and improvisation. Raised in the Triana neighbourhood, Candel has been touring stages across Spain since 2005 with shows such as 'S.O.S.', 'Todo pasa por algo, amor', 'Mandarinas, amor en gajos' and 'La antigua y la moderna', blending observational comedy, song and a strong rapport with her audience. In Gijón you can enjoy that same relaxed, close-up tone that has made her shows a regular fixture on Spain's live comedy circuit.
