Marisa Valle Roso performs in Gijón's Plaza Mayor, part of the summer's free outdoor concert programme. An Asturian artist deeply rooted in her region's folk tradition, she reinterprets 'tonada asturiana' through a contemporary lens that blends tradition, pop and electronic music, with a feminist and collective-memory-driven voice. Her career includes the Best Asturian Song of the Year award, the RTPA Critics' Prize, and a tour alongside Víctor Manuel where she shared the stage with Silvia Pérez Cruz, Jorge Drexler and Joaquín Sabina. In 2022 she released 'Lo Fugaz', her first solo-composed work. Free concert, at midday.
