Every first Sunday of October, Infiesto dresses up for the Hazelnut Festival, a celebration honouring one of Asturias's native crops, its traditions and natural produce, right in the heart of Piloña.

The programme combines a traditional market where visitors can sample local produce with craft exhibitions showcasing the work of local artisans, all rounded off with lively open-air dances that close out the day. It's a festival for all audiences, with the warm atmosphere typical of Asturian food and tradition events.

Declared a Festival of Tourist Interest by the Principality, the Hazelnut Festival is a good excuse to visit Piloña and discover one of the most deeply rooted products of the Asturian countryside.
