The company Meraki Cía. presents 'Leporem oblivionis o el encanto de olvidar' (Leporem Oblivionis, or the Charm of Forgetting), a stage piece that dives into the human psyche and how the perception of reality can shift in the face of a degenerative illness. The show moves through different corners of that mental labyrinth, playing with perspective: depending on where you look from, even the protagonist's inner world can hold small flashes of tenderness or happiness.

The piece is part of R.A.R.A. (Reacciones Artísticas RurAles) and comes to Llanes courtesy of the Casa Municipal de Cultura, as part of its autumn performing arts programme.

It's staged on Sunday 20 September at 5:30pm at the Casino de Llanes.
