The Criminal Dinner is an immersive theatre show that has come to Spain after more than fifteen years touring Germany, Switzerland and Austria, combining a multi-course dinner with a mystery plot solved live by the audience. Guests can become detectives, suspects or witnesses, questioning the characters and gathering clues between courses, or simply watch the story unfold if they prefer not to take part. The show arriving at La Quinta de Abuli in Oviedo is set in the months after the Spanish Civil War, with a young lieutenant, a meticulous maître d' and a group of prisoners skilled in the kitchen preparing a banquet while something far more dangerous is being cooked up backstage. An evening of about four hours mixing food and theatre.
