This version of Beauty and the Beast, staged by Seville-based company La Barbarie Teatro Musical, offers its own take on the classic tale: Belle is a young woman who lost her sight as a child, while the Beast is a prince cursed for being unable to see beyond appearances. With the castle's enchanted objects as allies, the story becomes a fable about empathy, inclusion and diversity. The production has toured Spain since 2017 and has racked up more than a hundred performances, arriving now at the Palacio de Congresos Luis Adaro.
