The Navarrese duo Jorge Sánchez and Eva Niño bring «Entre Silvio y Pablo te doy una canción» to Lugones, a tribute to two giants of Cuban Trova music: Silvio Rodríguez and Pablo Milanés. With over thirty years as a singer-songwriter, Jorge Sánchez takes on the project with both musicians' blessing, performing songs such as «Yo no te pido», «Ojalá», «Yolanda» and «Rabo de nube», alongside his own compositions.
On stage, Jorge Sánchez's voice and guitar are joined by Eva Niño's cello for a seventy-minute show selected by the Red de Teatros de Navarra, a great pick for fans of singer-songwriter music and Latin American sounds.
The concert takes place on Friday 23 October at 7.30pm at the Centro Polivalente Integrado de Lugones. Tickets cost €5 (€3.75 for students aged 14-24, box office only) and can be bought at sieroentradas.siero.es or at the venue's box office.
