Sala Acapulco welcomes Jordi Évole y Los Niños Jesús, the musical project the journalist launched in 2021 with a group of friends from his neighbourhood in Sant Boi de Llobregat, after a conversation with Pau Donés that finally pushed him onto a stage.

The band's set covers songs by Estopa, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Extremoduro, Duncan Dhu, Carolina Durante, El Último de la Fila, Kiko Veneno and C. Tangana, plus Jarabe de Palo tracks as a tribute to Pau Donés himself. It's not an impersonation act or forced nostalgia trip: it's a band of enthusiasts, with Évole on vocals after taking singing lessons, covering songs that are part of the collective memory with respect, emotion and a sense of humour.

After more than fifty concerts and appearances at festivals such as Sonorama and BBK Live, the band brings its tour to Gijón, with Jesús Salas, Jacob Carrasco, Juan Carlos Patrón, Javi López and Óscar Huertas rounding out the line-up on stage.
