AvilésMúsica returns for its third edition, bringing international chamber musicians to the Palacio de Camposagrado and the Casa de Cultura auditorium in Avilés from 31 August to 5 September. The programme opens with a concert devoted to Mozart and Brahms and moves on to works by Beethoven, Ravel, Shostakovich, Smetana, Mendelssohn and Dohnányi. On Thursday 3 September comes La Gala Virtuosa, a surprise concert whose programme stays secret until it begins. Single tickets cost €16, and a season pass for all six concerts costs €80, available through the festival's website.
