The big weekend of Oviedo's San Mateo festival closes with one of its most anticipated moments: the fireworks display 'La danza de las estrellas' (Dance of the Stars), lighting up the sky over Tuero Bertrand Park, in Montecerrao.

The fireworks cap off a Sunday packed with music, with the Vetusta Fest running since early evening at the La Ería fairground. It's a classic fixture of the San Mateo programme, meant to be enjoyed outdoors, with no ticket or booking needed.

The show starts at 10pm on Sunday, as part of the free San Mateo 2026 programme.
