Fiestas de versalles 2026
📍 Avilés · View on map
The Avilés neighbourhood of Versalles celebrates its patron saint festival in honour of the Virgin of Covadonga, one of the last dates on the area's summer festive calendar. For several days, the streets fill with open-air dances, sports tournaments and activities for all ages.
The programme includes the Marcos del Torniello five-a-side football tournament, a Festival of Culture and Traditions with folk group performances, exhibitions and children's competitions. At night, up to five open-air dances provide the soundtrack under marquees set up around the neighbourhood.
As every year, the city council sets up a "Punto Lila" information point against sexist aggression in the Los Canapés Sports Complex car park during the busiest nights.
