Baíña, a small village in the council of Mieres, celebrates its patron saint festivities, organised by the local Hermandad de Festejos. For a few days the village recovers its neighbourhood festival spirit, with the street becoming the meeting point for locals and visitors alike. It's a good excuse to explore this rural corner of Mieres and enjoy a simple, free plan typical of summer in Asturias's smaller villages.
