The XXXV Fiesta de la Sidra Natural kicks off. At 11:30 a bagpipe band performs in Plaza Mayor and at 12:00 the first round of the Best Cider Contest is held. At 17:00 the Cider and Apple Market opens at Jardines de la Reina, staying open until 23:00, and at 17:30 the Official Pouring Championship begins in Plaza Mayor.
