Ardines holds its traditional September festival in honour of Santa Eufemia, with two days of neighbourhood spirit and local flavour. Friday opens with a mass at the village chapel accompanied by bagpipe and drum, and Saturday brings the main programme: a procession, the traditional 'ramu' and rooster auctions, a vermouth session and a communal meal of ribs, pork and chicken (booking via WhatsApp until the 8th for those who want a seat).

In the afternoon there's a free bouncy castle for the kids and a bingo session, and the night closes with an open-air dance and DJ into the small hours. An old-school neighbourhood festival with something for everyone.
