Festival de Blues de Asturias en Luarca

Luarca trades the murmur of seagulls for the pulse of the blues for an entire weekend: from October 10 to 12, Plaza Alfonso X el Sabio hosts the 5th Asturias Blues Festival, a free gathering bringing together roots artists from across Spain.
The line-up opens with the drive of Anna Dukke, followed by veteran harmonica player Quique Gómez — fifteen albums deep and a résumé built alongside genre legends —, the Canary Islands duo Los Gumbo, Barcelona's Rambalaya, and closer-to-home acts such as Bindy Bazaar, Blackboard Blues Band, the duo Sil Fernández and Álvaro Bárcena, or Asturian one-man band Sr. Mo. Local taverns join in with a blues-and-southern menu, so anyone heading to this seaside town can pair great music with a great meal.
