The Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto hosts a performance of 'Perendi, la compañía del alba', part of the Arcu Atlánticu Festival, an Asturian-language comedy that won the Nel Amaro professional Asturian theatre award in 2024. The play also picked up two 2025 Oh Awards: best playwright, for Milio Rodríguez Cueto, and best male performance, for Carlos Alba 'Cellero'. Its premise, in the company's own words, says it all: in Perendi anything is possible. It's one of the Asturian-language theatre productions the Arcu Atlánticu programmes each year to celebrate stage work in the Asturian language.
