Concierto. Tsacianiegas

The duo Tsacianiegas performs at Plaza de Tabacalera, in Cimavilla, as part of the Arcu Atlánticu Festival. They are sisters Raquel and Laura Álvarez Alonso, from San Miguel de L.laciana (León), immersed since childhood in the traditional music of northern León and south-western Asturias. Their repertoire includes wedding songs, jotas, garruchas and vaqueiradas, some sung in patsuezu, the Asturian-Leonese language variety native to the mountain area shared by both territories. The concert is part of Arcu Atlánticu's free programme in the Cimavilla neighbourhood.
