The Asturian trio Picarós performs at Plaza de Jovellanos, in Cimavilla, as part of the Arcu Atlánticu Festival. Formed by Iván Álvarez (bagpipe, MIDI bagpipe, flutes and voice), Juan Yagüe (guitar) and Chus Fernández (percussion), the group was born in the Trubia Valleys.

In 2024 they released 'Son d'Ermu', a finalist album at the Ortigueira International Celtic World Festival, blending Asturian tradition with their own compositions.

The concert is part of Arcu Atlánticu's free programme, the festival that brings music and performing arts from the Atlantic Arc territories to central Gijón every summer.
