El Patio Teatro, co-produced with the Centro Dramático Nacional, brings 'Feriantes' to Teatro Jovellanos, a tribute to fairgrounds, funfair stalls and rides, and to all the people who over the years have devoted their lives to spreading excitement and fun across Spain's towns and cities. The show also works as a journey through the country's recent history seen through the eyes of those who work behind the carousels, tombolas, ghost trains and circus tents. The company aims to have audiences leave feeling as if they had spent an afternoon at the fairground itself, inviting everyone to look at the fair from an unusual angle.
