La Pola Siero hosts, at the Mercado Nacional de Ganado grounds, the 41st Regional Livestock Exhibition and the 16th Gochu Asturcelta Show, an event that brings together breeders of sheep, goats, horses, poultry and rabbits, alongside the effort to bring back this native Asturian pig breed.
Beyond the competition among breeders, the exhibition acts as a showcase to introduce these breeds to the general public and highlight the region's livestock farming. It takes place on 11, 12 and 13 September in La Pola Siero.
