The Asturias Waste Treatment Centre (COGERSA), in Serín, opens its doors on Sunday 30 August for the Green Weekend, a free day designed to get an up-close look at how recycling works in Asturias. We'll tour the facilities, solve puzzles as a family inside an escape box, and enjoy a falconry display, all in a single day built around learning, through play, how our everyday habits help protect the planet.
It's a great plan to bring along the kids, with activities suited to all ages and a friendly, hands-on atmosphere. Spaces are limited, so you'll need to book ahead at actividades.cogersa.es.
